This year the Santé Magazine has granted the prize 'SANTÉ-BEAUTE 1997' to 14 products. Among these products are 'Lierac' with Arkesin, 'Lancaster' with Fluide Teinté Ozygène, Avene with the Ysthéal range, PHAS with its Solution Démaquillante Unidose and now we have the pleasure to inform you that the Vivida tablets and 24 hour cream have joined this group of high-quality and internationally famous cosmetic products in Autumn 1997. The prizes were awarded at Hotel Ritz in Paris on the 22nd of October.
The Santé Magazine is the leading monthly health magazine in France with over 4,000,000 readers and around 420,000 sold copies each month. This French magazine is edited by chief editor André Giovanni and his editorial staff including three doctors and each issue is supervised by a group of doctors. The November issue with the prize Santé-Beaute 1997 was supervised by Dr. E. Albert, Pr. J.-P. Bader, Dr. D. Bochereau, Dr. B. Boucher, Dr. H. Bouruignin, Dr. S. Cascua, Dr. C.R. Dauvergnes, Dr. Durupt, Pr B. Frachet, Pr R. Frydman, Dr. J.-m. Jais, Dr. F. Lauzier, Dr. V. Lepoutre, Dr. O. Maury, Dr. D. Scimeca.
The committee that awards the prize 'SANTÉ-BEAUTE' includes 2 Dermatologists, 1 Pharmacist and three members from the editorial staff. This prestigious group selects new cosmetic products that have interesting cosmetic claims and studies the technical and scientific files of the products. The selected products are tested by a group of independent patients in order to verify that the results match with the given marketing and scientific claims. The prizes are given to cosmetic products which meet with three main criteria:
- Research
- Innovation
- Credibility.
This was the first year of these prizes and the Santé Magazine intends to make an event of it in the cosmetic field.
